The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) is grateful for support from SABC 2 to help spread the word about detecting cancer early, as well as for their promotion of our income generating project, CANSA Shavathon. This has enabled messages about cancer prevention, early detection, support and care to reach millions of South Africans and has hopefully helped to save lives. As a non-profit organisation, with no funds for advertising, we are extremely grateful for this support, including support from Morning Live, which regularly raises the issue of cancer.
Members of the First National Bank Volunteer Programme will be assisting CANSA at some public venues. We appreciate the support of these very special people.
