Lorinda Burger 2008-12-08 Shave & spray at a shopping centre

Public events held at shopping centres
If you would like your shopping venue to participate in CANSA Shavathon 2011, please contact CANSA now and challenge your competition to do so too!
What to expect
Members of the public arrive at their nearest participating shopping centre registered to host CANSA Shavathon. The event is usually open from 09h00 to 15h00, but may extend to 16h00. It is advisable to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
It is also a good idea to contact the shopping centre of your choice beforehand to determine the exact times the event is open, as one centre may differ from the other.
As shopping centres confirm that they will participate, they are added to the website - so check the website closer to the time for a final list of shopping venues that you can choose from.
How does Shavathon at a shopping centre work?
- After registration and payment, you move to the area where your head will be sprayed or shaved, choosing the colour/s to be sprayed or the length of the shave you want.
- Please be aware that CANSA Shavathon will no longer do ‘clean shaving’ due to risk factors – the lowest number for shaving is number 1.
- Depending on the queue, this could take between 15 – 60 minutes.
