Pentel hosts Shavathon and supports breast cancer awareness

Pentel has entered into a partnership with CANSA and will be selling a limited edition of pink Energel Retractable Pens with a breast cancer awareness ribbon on it. For each pen sold, Pentel will donate R2.00 to CANSA. As part of the agreement between CANSA and Pentel, Pentel  will provide each CANSA staff member with a pink Energel Retractable Pen, as well as posters for all provincial and regional offices. Pentel celebrated the launch of this product, by hosting a Shavathon for their staff on the 7th May 2010 at their Roodepoort office and made special t-shirts for them to commemorate the occasion. Every staff member either shaved their head or sprayed it pink.  The MD, challenged all staff and announced that the first staff member to shave their head would result in Pentel donating R1000 to CANSA.They then called on all their clients and suppliers to spread the word and to encourage participation.
